Benjamín joined OVB in 2016 and became a partner in 2020. His practice has centered on civil and commercial litigation, arbitration and the representation of national and foreign clients before the Superior Courts of Justice.

He has handled cases involving the electricity industry, the real estate sector and insurance and reinsurance disputes. More recently, he has intervened in disputes involving environmental considerations and indigenous legislation.

  • The main chain of national shopping centers, before the Supreme Court en banc, obtaining the annulment of an illegitimate auction held with respect to a shopping center that it owned, valued at approximately USD $40 million.
  • A construction company against a state health service, for the illegalities incurred in the bidding procedure for the construction of a hospital, seeking compensation of approximately USD $6.5 million.
  • A construction company in six arbitrations against a real estate group, for breaches of apartment building construction contracts, for USD $41 million.
  • A mining company in a CAM Santiago arbitration against an electric company, for the application of a green tax, for USD $15 million.
  • Two insurance companies in ad hoc arbitration, seeking compensation for damages caused by a fire in a shopping center that they had co-insured, for USD $40 million.
