Pharmacies collusion: Sernac announces compensation for more than 50 thousand affected

The National Consumer Service (Sernac) announced, on Wednesday morning, an agreement with the Cruz Verde and Salcobrand companies to compensate customers affected by the collusion of pharmacies, which successfully closes the class action initiated by That institution against Salcobrand and other pharmacies.

In 2013, Sernac filed a collective claim seeking the compensation of those affected in the collusion to raise the prices of various products. Now, there are about 53 thousand consumers who will receive around 22 thousand pesos as compensation.

The representatives of Salcobrand were the partners of OVB, Nicolás Vergara, Juan Sebastián Valdés and Diego Navarrete.
